We consult with select clients to analyze their learning organzation effectiveness and identify opportunities to streamline and improve workflows, improve learning and performance outcomes, and broaden learning organization impact.
We look at everything from the customers you serve and the impact they percieve, to the year-over-year costs vs. impact you've had on the organization; we consider emerging trends, identified patterns, internal processes, and much more.
We focus on learning outcomes and organizational capacity building. For example, we may find that your trainers and SMEs can become more competent collaborators with learning designers, which can cut your design and development time in half very quickly. Or, we may be able to identify some internal processes that can improve quality outcomes, capture better learning metrics, or save cost over time.
We draw on over 20 years of experience in top learning organizations to get the big picture perspective and dive into the details where needed, but our work doesn't happen in a vacuum. We work with your team to get to the results quickly. We often find a great deal of competency in organizations we serve; however, closeness to the situation may cloud many stakeholders' ability to step back and see the whole picture. As an outsider with a broad view of learning, we can help offer perspective.
How we do it
The process varies slightly based on individual client needs, but typically includes a pre-development meeting to align project goals and objectives, recurring reporting on progress, and key milestones to assure quality and effective outcomes. We focus on speed, quality, and cost--we try to go fast, keep the quality at the right level, and keep the costs to our customers low. One of the things that sets us apart from our competitors is that we also provide training and mentoring related to rapid e-learning tools. Our goal is to help your organization meet it’s needs. We like to transfer skills to members of your staff, where possible, so that you don't need us in the future for the same work. While this may seem counter-intuitive, it provides an effective growth strategy for our clients and keeps us engaged in interesting work. We have worked on and led hundreds of learning projects and have led and developed several training teams. |
Standard Rates
Our consulting services are billed daily, hourly, or by the project, depending on your needs. We work and train at your location or virtually. Our standard consulting rate for organizational analysis and effectiveness is $150 per hour or $1000 per day. We bill in quarter hour increments for partial days (6.5 hours or less). For projects requiring onsite assistance, we bill reasonable travel-related expenses. We do not bill for time traveling. |
