The New e-Learning Specialists: Are they ready for the challenge?

As rapid e-learning tools are refined, they become easier and easier to use. Anyone who knows basic PowerPoint can now, within a weekend acquire the technical skills to create e-learning. But that doesn't make them a specialist.

We've prepared a competency list that shows the skills that a real "specialist" needs. These are the skills we look for as we develop e-learning teams. You will note, when you look at the list, that there are many very specialized skills; it's unlikely that a person could acquire all of these in a weekend, or a month, or even a year.

So how does one prepare for rapid e-learning?

We've put together some courses that focus in on the basics...they won't make you a specialist in the traditional sense, but they'll help you get a great jump on effective design of instruction using rapid tools!
